Yamaha FJ 1200 by Rootsaert



Since these FJ1200 1986 had already walked more than 250,000 km, it was time for an update. To allow come with current technology I have (with the help of BS-autotune) a KDFI ignition and injection computer built. This controls the injectors of a GSX-R 750 throttle body and uses the original VR sensor of the FJ. Albeit with modified trigger wheel (24-1). The outlet is a full titanium 4-in-1-system of Akrapovic intended for a GSX-R1000. The whole party comes to an R1 in 2003. The rear wheel of a XJR1300.
